Ulmke 2XXX series aluminium tubes are heat treatable and possess a good combination of high strength, (especially at higher temperatures), toughness and in some specific alloys, good weldability.

This series is not resistant to atmospheric corrosion and and is therefore often painted or coated where exposed.
