Ulmke Metals 3000 Series Aluminium Tube
The 3XXX series of Ulmke Aluminium tubing is strain hardenable, has excellent corrosion resistance and is easily welded, brazed or soldered. It is stronger than 1XXX series and in some cases has better resistance than 1050A.
The 3xxx aluminium series is non heat treatable but it does offer the manufacturer good formability, weldability and corrosion resistance. It is appropriate for medium strength applications and is used for vehicle panelling, structures that are exposed to marine atmospheres and even for mine cages.
