Ulmke Metals 5000 Series Aluminium Tube
The 5XXX series of alloys are strain-hardenable and offer the manufacturer excellent corrosion resistance, (even in salt water), toughness, weldability and moderate strength. Ulmke 5000 series aluminium tube retains its toughness even at temperatures near to absolute zero.
5005 & 5051 offer relatively high tensile strengths, ease of forming and anodizing. 5049 & 5052 are suitable for high loadings and are easy to weld and cold form. 5754 is easy to anodize and weld and is sea water and weather resistant. 5019 offers similar benefits to 5754 but has higher strength.
